Silversmithing Workshops
Taking place in beautiful Strontian, on the West coast of the Scottish Highlands, Rowena offers a range of courses, from taster classes, to specific project workshops, to 6-week introduction to silversmithing courses.
Beading Workshops
Rowena teaches both in-person and online, and runs workshops for all abilities. She has a range of classes available from one-off courses to more advances projects.
Sterling Silver Pendant Workshop
Saturday 2nd March -10am-12.30pm - £30

Come and try your hand at jewellery making, no experience necessary. Make your own pendant or key ring from silver, in any design you choose.
Entry Requirements: Over 16’s only, no experience necessary!
Spinner Ring Workshop
Saturday 2nd March - 1-5pm - £40
Ardnamurchan High School, Strontian
Come along and make not 1, not 2 but three rings, combined to make a beautiful spinner ring, no previous experience necessary.

Bring your ideas, materials (and lunch) and I’ll provide the tools, workshop and advice! Silver and copper will be available to purchase on the day.

Introduction to Stone Setting Weekend
Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th March - 9am-5pm - £150

Please note, this is for previous students or people with previous experience of jewellery making, get in touch if you’re unsure! Over the two days you will learn how to set gemstones into silver using various techniques. Everything provided (except lunch).

Bead Folding
Saturday 6th April - Beadwildered, Glasgow - £20
Learn the principles of bead origami and use two-drop Brick stitch to make this lovely pendant. You will need 2x colours of size 11 Delicas and one colour of size 15 seed beads.
Skill level: Intermediate, knowledge of Brick stitch is essential.
